Making a Grant Application

 

The Much Hadham Outdoor Movie Experience was run by the Much Hadham Recreation Trust, a registered charity in England and Wales (No. 1187OO2).  The profits from our events are used by the Much Hadham Recreation Trust for the general benefit of the inhabitants of the Parish of Much Hadham.

 

APPLICATIONS FOR 2022/23 ARE NOW OPEN

The deadline for 2022/23 applications to be received is 31st January 2023.


OBJECTS OF THE RECREATION TRUST

The objects of the Recreation Trust are the upkeep and maintenance of the village hall and recreation ground at Much Hadham and for such other charitable purposes for the general benefit of the inhabitants of Much Hadham as the trustees shall determine.

All applicants should ensure that they fall within these objects before making any grant application. The Charity Commission guidance in relation to "charitable purposes" is that it should fall within one of the following headings:
(i) The advancement of citizenship or community development
(ii) The advancement of arts, culture, heritage or science
(iii) The advancement of amateur sport
(iv) Relief of those in need by reason of youth, age or ill health, including in particular the care, upbringing or establishing in life of children.

Applications for grants must be made using the Grant Application Form available to download from this page.   If you are unable to download this form please contact us and we will send you a hard copy. Your application must be received by the deadline either by email or post as detailed below.
